Welcome to The Styling Academy!

We run courses, workshops, photo shoots and much much more all designed to help you make the best of yourself and boost your confidence. Where you are 5 or 55 we have something for you that will make you look and feel great. Being well presented is essential in any situation and the team at The Styling Academy can make a difference and help you stand out from the crowd. We have strong links to the fashion industry and our mentors have a vast amount of professional experience.

From learning how to correctly apply make up, styling your hair and dressing in a stylish way to picking up the tricks and tips on general grooming such as waxing, eyebrow shaping and tanning, you will learn a huge amount on our courses and workshops.

The Styling Academy is so exciting, we work closely with brands, charities and schools organising fashion shows, magazine photo shoots and fashion events. See the gallery page for recent events we have been involved in.

We also offer a variety of fantastic and fun courses for all age groups plus we run amazing parties for girls from 6 to 16 years.

The Schools Academy Programme

We have developed a ‘School Extra Curricular Programme’ specifically for girls in year 8 and 9. The five week course is designed for those who want to learn how to make the best of themselves. It is unique and packed full of essential information for any girl who wants to learn about putting make up on properly without using too much, wearing their hair in different styles, learning how to look after their skin, eating well and exercising. The Styling Course

Princess Make Overs

Our Princess Make Overs, held in our Manchester studio at the Triangle Shopping Centre, is an hour of pure heaven for your little angel. We will apply our glorious glitter make up and she’ll have her hair put up in a princess style or curled, her nails will be painted and tea and cup cakes will be served of course. Girls can come dressed up to the nines and we’ll accessorise with jewellery and tiaras. Next it’s time to learn to walk like royalty ready for the Princess Parade on our gorgeous pink catwalk. Holiday Workshops for girls

A perfect way to spend a day – girls absolutely love our workshops and leave feeling full of confidence! We do all girly things such as facials, manicure & pedicures, make up and hair lesson and practise, fashion and styling lesson, photoshoot, catwalking and mini fashion show.

Birthday Party Workshops

The Styling Academy also runs a party service with a difference. If you are looking for a new theme for your daughter’s birthday, the Styling Academy team can come along and provide a 2 or 3 hour workshop covering make up, photo posing and cat walking.

All girls love make-up, even at a young age, so we have created this package just for them. We give a make up and hair demonstration then let the girls go wild applying our make up and doing their hair (under our supervision). Find Out more.

Fun and Fabulous Photoshoots

Our Fun and Fabulous photoshoot session gives you a real taste of modelling whether it’s just for fun or to fill your portfolio with amazing and beautiful images. We have a brilliant team that will create stunning, edgy and dynamic images and make your day one to remember. On arrival to the studio’s we will chat about your look with our make up and hair artist’s and plan what you will be wearing*, once you’ve had your make up professionally applied and your hair styled you will either go out on location or stay in the studio with our fantastic fashion photographer who will make you feel relaxed and give direction throughout your shoot. Hen Party Workshops

Don’t get the hen party panics.........Step into hen heaven. The Styling Academy delivers an impressive hen party package. Arrive at Manchester235 welcomed by a glass of bubbly before a top professional reveals industry secrets in a hair and make-up session. We will show you how to strut your stuff on the catwalk and work your poses in photo shoots, all tied in with a delicious buffet lunch and a glass of wine. Fashion Show Production

Our team has years’ worth of experience when it comes to fashions shows from the initial conception through to on-site event co-ordination and management we can help with any size fashion show. We offer a full service including supplying models, choreography, catwalk/staging, lighting, technicians, sound engineers and PA systems at a very competitive rate. The Styling Academy can organise you an amazing 16th birthday party. With the help of our gorgeous male models and promotion team your day will involve a make up and hair make over, photo shoot and catwalking, plus depending on your budget, we can organise the rest of your party from riding in limo to room theming and entertainment!
